Hi, I'm Keith Porcaro. My work focuses on how legal norms form in a digitizing society.

I'm currently a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center, and am working on building Digital Public, which helps communities protect and govern their data with trusts. I also teach a class at Georgetown University Law Center, and tinker with a side project. I'm a lawyer by training, and am licensed to practice in California.

Previously, I worked at SIMLab, a D.C. nonprofit. There, I helped governments and nonprofits use technology to improve their work.

From time to time, I write, code, and photograph.

You can download my CV, or email me. I'm currently available for small consulting projects.
